Rooted: Empowerment for Girls of Color (6th–8th Grade)

Rooted is an 8-week empowerment group designed specifically for girls of color in 6th–8th grade. It offers a supportive, culturally affirming space to explore identity, strengthen confidence, build leadership skills, and connect with peers who get it.

Grounded in the G.E.M.S. Model of Empowerment™, the group centers on the Four C’s:

Clarity – Knowing who you are, what you value, and what you stand for

Connection – Building healthy friendships and supportive relationships

Consistency – Practicing authenticity and showing up as your full self
